Swedish Massage

Soft tissue manipulation has significant benefits for a variety of conditions and for diverse patient populations. Whether you need to have a moment of relaxation, reduce muscle tension or attain relief from chronic pain, massage therapy can enhance your overall well-being. Massage therapy can help alleviate musculoskeletal disorders associated with everyday stress, muscular overuse, physical manifestation of mental distress and many persistent pain syndromes.

Cupping Therapy

The practice of Chinese medicine holds that pain results from the congestion, stagnation, and blockage of Qi, or vital energy and fluids. With disease comes pain and dysfunction. Suffering is a result of obstructed or irregular flow in the body and by using cupping therapy to pull the soft tissues and fascia of the body upwards you release tension, adhesions, toxins and promote optimal blood flow.

Child Physiotherapy

Kinesiology taping is based on the science of maintaining support to the body while allowing blood and other bodily fluids to move freely through and around the injured muscle. It stabilizes the injured area by lightly adhering to the skin and applying pressure to the tissues the tape is wrapped around allowing the connective tissue surrounding the affected muscle or tendon to move along with the body. It gently allows the free flow of blood and lymphatic fluid to cleanse and heal the inflammation without the use of medications or surgery.

Massage Scraping

The most commonly cited benefits of muscle scraping are,

1. Anti-inflammation

2. Decrease in scar tissue and fibrosis

3. Pain relief

4. Improved range of motion

Scraping targets specific soft tissues of the body allowing for an increase in blood flow, decrease in restriction and improvement of muscle and tendon stiffness.
